Bedcare Plus: Prevention of pressure ulcers and moisture wounds.
The system replaces the current woven and knitted cotton bed sheets that are not smooth and the inelastic silicone based transfer sheets, typically used in healthcare facilities. Due to its unique properties, the system is able to guarantee during motion in bed, repositioning and transfer, a more comfortable operation.The innovation system for the prevention of pressure ulcers and moisture wounds during brief or prolonged stay in bed has been developed based on Smart Textiles. The textile system can be used for bedsore risk groups in nursing homes, but also in hospitals. If used in the domestic environment, this can lead to postponement of inpatient admission.
